MODEL BUS SHOW 2025

March 22nd is our yearly model bus show at the Genesis Entertainment Centre in Alfreton Derbyshire. Again there will be plenty of Model bus displays and sales stalls. Here is all the information you will need. We look forward to seeing you all again for a catch and to show off our models.

PARKING:
PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS IMPORTANT - There is limited parking at the front of the centre, but there is plenty around the back in the Alfreton Leisure Centre car park in the RED BAYS MARKED GENESIS ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE. (AS ABOVE) You will then come in the rear entrance. When parking at the venue YOU MUST ENTER YOUR REGISTRATION ON THE COMPUTER SYSTEM ON THE FRONT DESK, THIS GIVES YOU PERMISSION TO PARK THERE FREE. The postcode for the Leisure Centre is DE55 7BD. When you enter the Alfreton Leisure Centre on Church St, Alfreton, stay to the left and all the RED PARKING BAYS ARE ALONG THE LEFT OF THE CAR PARK, YOU CAN ENTER THE MODEL BUS SHOW BETWEEN BAYS 31 AND 32,
GETTING HERE:
Buses are the rainbow one from Nottingham towards Alfreton, Alight at High Street (Stop 7)
The H1 from Derby to Alfreton, The Comet from Derby or Chesterfield.

ENTRANCE TO THE GENESIS ENTERTAINMANT CENTRE IF COMING FROM THE M1 OR A38 OR WALKING FROM THE BUS STATION -
From the Alfreton Bus Station to the event. When leaving the Bus Station, head towards the Tesco supermarket and the traffic lights. Stay on the Bus
station side of the road and with Tesco on your left, turn right at the traffic lights and cross over when safe to do so. Head towards the Pelican traffic lights
and look on your left for the King Street Picture Framing shop and The Genesis Entertainment Centre is up the small road just at the side of the shop. Look
for our Midland Bus Kits banner.
From the High Street Bus Stop 7 by the Blue Bell pub, walk past the Blue Bell pub up to the traffic lights and turn right, when safe to do so, cross over the road to the War Memorial and walk down through the small car park down to the King Street Picture Framing shop and immediatley after the shop turn right up the small access road to the Genesis Entertainment Centre.
